Is your order below the required minimum? Follow these best practices to reach wholesaler shipping minimums with ease
Are you ready to place your order, but cannot because you’re below the wholesaler’s shipping minimum? Undoubtedly that’s a frustrating experience, especially when every second of time counts. Read on to learn best practices for how to manage this situation with efficiency.
You can take one of two different approaches, each we’ll go through in detail.
Build up the current order
We recommend this approach if the current order is relatively close to the minimum. Here’s what to do:
- Go to your Opportunity 🔥
- Click the wholesaler card to filter by that supplier.
- Evaluate the results and add items to the Cart until the minimum is met.
Redistribute the order to a different wholesaler cart
We recommend this approach if it’s a small order that’s far from the minimum and/or you don’t have time to continue building the order. A requirement for this approach is to have a different supplier order that exceeds/is close to exceeding the minimum. Here’s what to do:
- Expand the order. Keep in mind which supplier(s) you want to redistribute items to.
- Click the “See More Options” icon on the line item.
- Replace the item with an item from a supplier in mind.
- Follow the above steps for each item until the order has been fully redistributed.
